Hot Issue! Kopiko candy became a sponsor for Korean drama Vicenzo

The Korean drama ‘Vicenzo’ that recently came out, starring the handsome Song Joong Ki is the talk of the town in Indonesia. This is due to Indonesian netizens spotting the Kopiko candy logo in the drama that aired last Saturday Sabtu (20/2). They feel a sense of pride because the candy that is usually consumed in Indonesia suddenly appeared in one of the hottest new Korean dramas.

Indonesian netizens are raving every time they watch, to the point that they watch the drama to satisfy their curiosity of seeing their favorite candy’s logo appear. The Kopiko logo appears at the end of every Vincenzo episode, along with other international brands. They often say that Kopiko is one of the biggest sponsors for the  drama as the logo appears alone in quite a big size.

Kopiko has truly become a hot issue, but it is definitely not its first time making waves internationally. First released in the 1980s, Kopiko is the first Indonesian coffee candy brand that is able to dominate markets not only in Indonesia, but in over 100 countries worldwide. Moreover, in 2017, Kopiko also became a hot issue after it was seen being brought by NASA to outer space during their Thanksgiving celebrations.

Kopiko is made from real coffee extract. As Indonesia’s pride, Kopiko should be appointed as a state asset because in reality, Indonesian coffee is enjoyed by many all over the world, not only in  Asian regions  but also in Europe. Therefore, when they eat Kopiko, they feel as if they are consuming Indonesia’s specialty coffee that they love so much.
